Terms of Use

Last updated: April 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EasyOnward ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

EasyOnward is a travel intelligence platform that analyzes visa, transit, entry, and documentation requirements for international travel. The Service evaluates itineraries against a traveler's profile (citizenship, visas held, passport validity, etc.) and provides informational guidance.

3. Not Legal or Professional Advice

The Service does not provide legal, immigration, medical, or professional travel advice. All analysis is informational only. Travel requirements change frequently and may vary by airline, nationality, port of entry, and individual circumstances.

You are solely responsible for verifying all travel requirements with:

  • The destination country's official immigration authority
  • Your airline(s)
  • Relevant embassies or consulates
  • A qualified immigration attorney (for complex cases)

EasyOnward is not liable for denied boarding, denied entry, deportation, fines, or any other consequence arising from reliance on information provided by the Service.

4. Data Accuracy and Limitations

Our analysis is based on multiple data sources including government publications, international databases, and community- maintained reference data. While we strive for accuracy:

  • Requirements may change without notice. Our data may not reflect the most recent changes.
  • Enforcement varies by airline, immigration officer, and port of entry. A requirement listed as "not enforced" may still be checked.
  • Individual circumstances (criminal history, prior visa refusals, health conditions) may affect your admissibility in ways the Service cannot fully assess.
  • Confidence levels shown in the Service (e.g., "High confidence," "Reference") indicate the quality of our data source, not a guarantee of correctness.

5. User Accounts and Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in your traveler profile. Incorrect profile data (wrong citizenship, expired passport not updated, etc.) will produce incorrect analysis.

You must not create accounts for others without their consent or enter another person's passport or identity information without their explicit permission.

6. Group Travel Features

When you join a group trip, limited compatibility information may be visible to other group members (e.g., "this destination has a blocker for one member"). Sensitive personal details are never shared. By joining a group, you consent to this limited information sharing. You may leave a group at any time.

7. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services

The Service may display affiliate links to third-party services (onward ticket providers, travel insurance, visa application services). These links are clearly identified. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our travel compliance analysis. Risk assessments, visa requirements, and rule evaluations are computed independently of any commercial relationship. We will never suppress a warning or alter a risk score for commercial reasons.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. EasyOnward is not responsible for the products, services, or practices of third parties.

8. Travel Briefs

Shareable Travel Briefs contain rule explanations and official source citations. They do not contain personal information (passport numbers, names, dates of birth). Travel Briefs are accessible via non-guessable URLs but are not password-protected. Do not share Travel Brief links with untrusted parties if the destination or route information is sensitive to you.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including facilitating illegal immigration or human trafficking
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service via automated means without written permission
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the rules engine, data sources, or algorithms
  • Create false or misleading profiles, or impersonate another person
  • Abuse rate limits, overload the Service, or interfere with other users' access
  • Use the Service to discriminate against individuals based on nationality, ethnicity, or immigration status

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYONWARD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Denied boarding or entry at any border
  • Missed flights or connections
  • Fines, penalties, or detention by immigration authorities
  • Costs of alternative travel arrangements
  • Loss of travel bookings or reservations

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EasyOnward from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its rules engine, data compilations, algorithms, user interface, and documentation, is owned by EasyOnward and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.

13. GDPR and International Data Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent legislation:

  • Lawful basis: We process your personal data based on your consent (profile creation) and legitimate interest (service improvement, security).
  • Data portability: You may request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Data Protection Officer: For GDPR-related inquiries, contact dpo@easyonward.com.
  • Supervisory authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Passport and identity data is classified as sensitive personal data. We process it only with your explicit consent and protect it with encryption at rest and in transit. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brevard County, Florida.
